Not sure if this is the right sub for this but here it goes. Was recently terminated from my job for getting too many “complaints” (the email was very vague). I’m pretty sure that most of these were made up and I was fired for retaliation from the manager(s) for other reasons. My question is do I qualify for UI and if my employer decides to dispute my case will I have a good chance of winning the appeal? Should I contact an employment lawyer that specializes in these kind of things to assist me? Any info or experience would be a big help, this would be my first time applying for UI.
