Investing in ETFs from Belgium (financial taxes) : eupersonalfinance

Hi guys,

I live in Belgium and have an account at de giro Ireland. When I place an order of IMAE ETF at EAM stock exchange for instance, the financial tax I am charged is 0.12%, which is what I expect. On the other hand, if I place an order of EUN0 at XETRA stock exchange, that same tax becomes 0.35%. Does anyone have an explanation to that? I would expect this tax to be the same. P.S. EUN0 is listed as MVEU in other stock exchanges across Europe and the tax seems to be 0.35% as well. EUNK for instance, which is the IMAE ETF but listed at XETRA, is also charged at 0.12% on the order value. These ETFs I mentioned are all domiciled in Ireland.
